Hezbollah vs Israel & Cease-fire

Latest News: http://news.yahoo.com/fc/world/mideast_conflict

It is funny how people keep referring to the Israeli conflict and wanting there to be what people call a “cease-fire” in the situation. Let me just say that for those of you who think along those line you’re just plain stupid.

1. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization

So, would you want to make deals with a terrorist organization? I personally would not want to make that assumption nor even look at one. They are going to keep attacking and doing what they’re doing until they are wiped out of existence.

2. Israel needs to resist

In this particular situation let’s pretend that you’re sitting at home and someone swipes a TV while you’re sitting upstairs at your desk. You head downstairs to find the TV gone yet, are able to glimpse your neighbor next to you running over to his house with your TV. Question: Would you just let him or her take your TV? OR Would you call the cops and head over to his or her house and give your neighbor a piece of your mind? I would choose the second option and work at getting my TV back. That is exactly what Israel is doing in this case. Some of their soldiers were captured by Hezbollah and Israel is doing its part to work at getting them back.

3. Cease-fire will not work with terrorists

What I mean with point 3 is that they will take any chance they get. If you had a temporary break in a paintball match to reload your guns and possibly grab some buckets of paint would you take it? I sure would so I could crush the opposing team and win the game or match. Same goes here for Hezbollah in that a cease-fire would allow them to move their men and supplies, setup for new attacks, and get ready to hit Israel with more weapons maybe even better ones than rockets.

Those are just 3 points in regards to the Israel vs. Hezbollah fight. Now that you’ve seen what I’ve laid out: where do you stand? Are you still thinking Israel is being too harsh or are they doing the right thing? Post your comments below.

Thanks everyone and until next time. :)

North Korea and Nukes

Hey everyone,

For those of you who have been following the latest news North Korea has decided to launch some more nuclear missiles which have failed. Yet, before I begin here is a message from Kim Jong-Il

  • Kim Jong Il Parody Source: Rush Limbaugh

  • Now, it is interesting watching the different world leaders take on this issue which range from doing nothing (yes, there are those who don't want to stop North Korea) and others who want to shut them down possible blow them up (which I'd love to point our nukes at and hold them at bay.)

President Bush is of course not treating Kim as a kid whereas the Clinton administration did throughout President Clinton's presidency. Other world leaders don't quite see North Korea as a threat particularly China and Russia.

China doesn't appear to be too worried about North Korea particularly since it sends food and supplies there. The BBC sums up China's actions so far nicely:

Much will depend on China, which must have been annoyed at the launch, though publicly it has simply talked of its "regret". China supports North Korea with food and energy so has a hold over it.
However China is still unwilling to do much about the North. It is worried about a collapse there, precipitating a flood of refugees into China.
Beyond that, it presumably prefers to have a known factor on its doorstep rather than risk a united, democratic and prosperous Korea which might develop from the demise of the North.

So, overall this situation is still up in the air in my opinion. I personally think that the longer we talk, the more this threat grows and will continue to become. We need to push the talks forward as best we can then if need be use force. I see no problem with President Bush ordering a group of US soldiers, planes, or whatever needs to be done to tell Kim we mean business and are not going to back down. The Democrats... well, the of course don't want us to do anything except just wait and talk and talk and talk....ugh I'm sure they' say that if we use force we'd be shoving our values and way of life onto the people of North Korea. It'd be another Iraq they'd probably say.

So, the question remains: (Click the link or picture to find out)

    Video
Is North Korea really a threat?

July 5: North Korea launched seven missiles in 48 hours, and soon could launch more. Is the country a real threat, or just looking for some international attention? NBC's Jim Miklaszewski reports.

I say there are and will be in the future. I personally don't want to see Alaska or a part of the USA hit with a missile when we could have prevented such an act.

That's it for now and I will work on updating this blog weekly or more often as time permits.

    The First Entry

    Greetings everyone.

First off thanks to a friend of mine for helping me to come up with a name for this particular blog. As the name says it will be about Conservative stuff plus ranting and raving on how the dems in this country are being idiots today. Granted, that it might be every day, but lucky them they will get mentioned/talked about no matter what.

    Let's get started shall we?

The dems as you all know particularly in the Senate yesterday once again showed their complete stupidity for the entire world to see. Senator John Kerry (who served in Vietnam remember) proposed an amendment (site: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,200542,00.html ) to have the troops pull out of Iraq. It failed 86-13 and a second amendment put together by Senator Levin got smashed 60-39. Lovely to see the Democrats who say they are for helping people and keep the country secure saying as they did yesterday a big NO.

These actions irritate me to no end them doing that crapola. Shows how two faced they are and thank God we do not have them in charge of our security cuz if so we are majorly screwed like none other that's for sure. Want to know how stupid they are? Check out this quote: "This is not cut and run. This is a smart way to win the War on Terror," from Senator Kerry. Just lovely Senator and I'm sure you voted against this bill before you voted for it. Idiots just plain idiots. Here's the smart Republicans; check out this quote: "Withdrawal is not an option, surrender is not a solution," said Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. (both quotes from the fox news story link above)

Run with the dems plan here for a bit and let’s see how this plays out. If we pull out, Iraq gets taken over by renegades, its economy collapse, and we the United States plus other countries get hit not only from Iran and other countries but Iraq too. Just plain lovely. So ask yourself this plain question: who you rather have had Iraq nuke us first or go over, destroy the nuke, and hit them first? If you're a sane and conscious person I hope you picked option number two there.

To be honest I was waiting to get another alert on my Blackberry from Fox News that there was a third bill introduced and that it was shot down too. I figured the dems were just too scared to try and show the world how the really feel for a third time. Idiots just plain idiots. To be honest I don't think I'll ever be able to grasp how a democrat can look at a guy holding a guy to his head and say run away. The Republican on the other hand would fight and do everything he or she could to stay alive and kick the bad guys butt at the end of the day. HOORAH!

Speaking of which a big shout out to those in any branch of the armed forces. You men and women are doing a fine job and keep up the good work out there. We salute and thank you for your continuing hard work and dedication.

That's enough for now so keep your eyes open for the next from the We Be Conservative desk.
