It is funny how people keep referring to the Israeli conflict and wanting there to be what people call a “cease-fire” in the situation. Let me just say that for those of you who think along those line you’re just plain stupid.
1. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization
So, would you want to make deals with a terrorist organization? I personally would not want to make that assumption nor even look at one. They are going to keep attacking and doing what they’re doing until they are wiped out of existence.
2. Israel needs to resist
In this particular situation let’s pretend that you’re sitting at home and someone swipes a TV while you’re sitting upstairs at your desk. You head downstairs to find the TV gone yet, are able to glimpse your neighbor next to you running over to his house with your TV. Question: Would you just let him or her take your TV? OR Would you call the cops and head over to his or her house and give your neighbor a piece of your mind? I would choose the second option and work at getting my TV back. That is exactly what Israel is doing in this case. Some of their soldiers were captured by Hezbollah and Israel is doing its part to work at getting them back.
3. Cease-fire will not work with terrorists
What I mean with point 3 is that they will take any chance they get. If you had a temporary break in a paintball match to reload your guns and possibly grab some buckets of paint would you take it? I sure would so I could crush the opposing team and win the game or match. Same goes here for Hezbollah in that a cease-fire would allow them to move their men and supplies, setup for new attacks, and get ready to hit Israel with more weapons maybe even better ones than rockets.
Those are just 3 points in regards to the Israel vs. Hezbollah fight. Now that you’ve seen what I’ve laid out: where do you stand? Are you still thinking Israel is being too harsh or are they doing the right thing? Post your comments below.
Thanks everyone and until next time. :)
