I am just now watching part of the democratic debate in NH live online at the moment. A few brief thoughts:
Same old stuff. John Edwards play his family card i.e. worked hard to get where he is etc. I was surprised that nobody in the crowd shed a tear. I'm sure that if there was the cameras missed it.
I'm hearing rants about the environment and taxes etc. What about the current situation etc? Foreign policy etc? Hello we are at war here people.
Easy questions. The media will keep feeding them the easy pitches. Ugh.
Senator Clinton dodged the last question about whatever a candidate wanted to take back.
Senator Obama went out to the crowd and shook hands. Working on the public which is a good move for him. I doubt Hillary would do that. Correction: she was out shaking a few hands; hand sanitizer after when she gets offstage I'm sure.
We'll see what happens on Tuesday. I'll do what I can to watch part of the Republican one is possible and share my thoughts on that.
